This cozy chai tea beats all that sugar you are probably consuming in your typical chai tea latte from your local coffee shop.. with added benefits!
Ingredients:
Chai Tea Blend
Milk of choice
Vanilla Extract
Cinnamon
Marshmallows- I used Sweet Appricity.
Can add a dash of honey or maple syrup if preferred
Directions:
1. Seep chia tea of your choice with water
2. Add 1 tbsp of your favorite milk to chia tea blend- I used Three Trees almond milk.
3. Add 1/2 tsp. of vanilla extract
4. Froth another 1-2 tbsp of milk until it foams
5. Top chai tea with foamed milk and a dash of cinnamon
6. Add some marshmallows! I used Sweet Appricity marshmallows (grass-fed gelatin for the gut)!
If you want to add a little extra sweetness, add a dash of honey or pure maple syrup- but these marshmallows do add a little sweetness.
Benefits of gelatin:
Gelatin contains glycine and proline, both of which help the body to produce collagen—> great for hair skin and nails!
Gelatin is also good for the gut by supporting a healthy intestinal lining. It also pulls water into the intestines supporting healthy motility and bowel movements.
