Protein Peanut Butter Eggs

So good soooooo easy! My absolute favorite Easter candy is the Reece’s peanut butter eggs… who’s with me?! Unfortunately if you take a look at the ingredients they’re filled with inflammatory oils and processed sugars.

These peanut butter eggs are super easy only 3 ingredients and will give you a little protein boost!

Ingredients

2 cups Peanut butter

2 scoops of unflavored protein powder (or protein of choice)

Dairy Free Dark Chocolate (or chocolate of choice)

Directions:

1. Take 2 cups of peanut butter (peanuts and salt only, and we want to include the oils) and mix in a pot over low heat on the stove. This is to really soften the nut butter.

2. Add 2 scoops of protein powder of choice. Can use collagen peptides as well. This should form a paste that you can mold into an egg shape.

3. Once mixture is combined remove from heat and let cool.

4. Form mixture into egg shapes.

5. Place into freezer for about 30 minutes.

6. Once eggs have hardened, melt your chocolate of choice, coat the eggs and place back in the freezer for at least an hour!

Easy as that!!
